When should I see a urologist?

Consider a urology consultation for blood in urine, recurrent urinary infections, stone symptoms, difficulty urinating, persistent pelvic or flank pain, male fertility concerns or a known urinary-system diagnosis. Seek urgent medical care for severe pain with fever, inability to urinate or heavy bleeding.

What should I bring to my first consultation?

Bring a list of medicines and allergies, previous scan and laboratory reports, discharge summaries, relevant medical history and a note of your symptoms. If possible, arrange records chronologically.

Will I need surgery?

Not every urological condition needs surgery. Dr. Anand will review symptoms, examination findings, imaging and test results before discussing observation, medicines, minimally invasive treatment or surgery.
